  2. Letter to Your Past Self: Write a letter to the "you" of five years ago. Offer words of encouragement, share lessons learned, and celebrate growth.

  3. Vision Boarding: Create a visual representation of your aspirations for the next five years. What do you want to achieve? How do you want to evolve? Half of a decade is a long time— do NOT sell yourself short. Dream big.

  4. Gratitude Practice: Compile a list of people, experiences, and lessons you're grateful for. Gratitude amplifies the positive energy in your life.

Take a moment to craft your own "In and Out List." What behaviours, habits, or mindsets are you welcoming into your life in 2024? Conversely, what are you consciously choosing to leave behind? I have created a list below.


In and Out List for 2024

  • In: Mindful Moments Take a breath, appreciate the little things, and let mindfulness be your superpower in navigating the hustle.

  • Out: Rushed Mornings No more chaotic starts (I know, big ask here). Set the tone for the day with a moment of calm and a cup of your favourite brew. I have learned that slowing down on the front end costs me very little time on the back end. 

  • In: Boundaries that Spark Joy Welcome boundaries that prioritize your well-being. Say 'no' when needed, and guard your time fiercely. Your peace is non-negotiable.

  • Out: Overcommitting Bid farewell to the overbooked calendar. Quality over quantity is the motto. Leave room for spontaneity and self-care.

  • In: Growth Mindset Embrace challenges as opportunities to learn and grow. Every setback is a setup for a comeback. Instead of why, I will be asking why not? 

  • Out: Fixed Mindset Ditch the limiting beliefs. You're not stuck; you're evolving. Embrace change, and watch your world expand.

  • In: Gratitude Practice Welcome a daily dose of gratitude. It could be a journal, a mental note, or even a shout-out to the universe. Gratitude attracts positivity.

  • Out: Complaining

  • Let go of the habit of constant complaints. Instead, channel that energy into finding solutions and focusing on the positive. I will actively be implementing strategies to vent my joys.

  • In: Tech Detox Time Welcome intentional breaks from the digital noise. Unplug, unwind, and reconnect with the analog world around you. I plan to continue with the no phone from 5-7pm and my relationship with social media continues to be called into question.

  • Out: Endless Scrolling Break free from the infinite scroll. Time is precious, and there's a real world waiting for your attention.

  • In: Strong Connections Nurture relationships that feed your soul. Surround yourself with those who uplift, support, and inspire you.

  • Out: Toxic Relationships Bid adieu to relationships that drain your energy. Life's too short for negativity. Choose connections that fuel your growth rather than contacts to grow your following. Collaboration is my love language.

  • In: Embracing Imperfections Welcome the beauty in imperfections. Perfect is boring; authentic is magnetic.

  • Out: Chasing Perfection Release the need for everything to be flawless. Embrace the messy, imperfect journey – that's where the real magic happens.

  • In: Self-Care Rituals Prioritize self-care without guilt. Whether it's a bubble bath, a good book, or a walk around the block, make time for activities that recharge you.

  • Out: Neglecting Self-Care No more putting yourself last. Your well-being is a priority, not a luxury. Self-care isn't selfish; it's essential.

Here's to a lifetime of highs, lows, and everything in between. Belong has always been more than a store, it is a community. We have become a collective genuinely rooting for others.
