As the leaves turn gold and the air gets crisp, it's the perfect time to embark on a new challenge to go with the changing season while  building on that main character energy from last week. Think of it as your own romantic comedy – the one where you're the star, and the leading role is all about falling head over heels in love with yourself. And guess what? Fashion is your co-star and your belong hype squad are along for the ride in this love story! So, let's dive into five easy and approachable ways to ignite that self-love spark, spiced up with a sprinkle of fashion magic (and a PSL).

  1. Daily Affirmations to Boost Confidence

Start your day with a dose of positivity. Stand tall in front of the mirror, flash a confident smile, and declare your self-love. Whatever affirmation you choose, is perfect. These are deeply personal and the only person who needs to relate to them, is you. Do not overthink this, when we trust our inner knowing, the answer is right there. Are you worthy? Are you brave? Are you bold? Are you intelligent? Are you sexy AF? Are you all of the above? Pick one and start.

  1. Prioritize Self-Care Like a Boss

Self-love begins with self-care. Dedicate some "me time" each day. It could be as simple as sipping your morning coffee or tea from your favourite mug. Wrap yourself in a cozy blanket, and let that moment be a reminder that you are worth the time and effort. Regardless of what you choose to do, you need to do it and it needs to be prioritized. Each day and each week will be different- pay attention how how your needs change with your cycles.

  1. Dance Like Nobody's Watching

Put on your favourite music and dance around like nobody's watching. It's an instant mood-booster and a fantastic way to celebrate your body. However you are able to move, wiggle, nod, or shake it, I invite you to do it. This is something I do not do enough of yet it is something I know I feel so good afterward.

  1. Write a Love Letter to Yourself

Grab a journal and pen down a love letter to yourself. Highlight your strengths, your achievements, and the qualities you admire most in yourself. And to make it even more special, write this love letter during a time where you won’t be interrupted, with your favourite warn beverage, snacks, and no distractions. Don’t be shy, LOVE ON HER.

  1. Set Boundaries That Show Self-Respect

Setting boundaries is an act of self-love. It's about saying "yes" to what truly nourishes your soul and "no" to what drains your energy. When you establish healthy boundaries, it's like curating your own VIP guest list for life. And guess what? You're the VIP! We spend so much time worrying about others opinions. Please repeat after me (and perhaps add to your affirmation): other people’s opinions of me are none of my business.
